Assignment no 1 ( identify DESIGN problems )

IDENTIFICATION OF DESIGN 
PROBLEMS

1. ELECTRICITY METERS ;

The design problem in this product is that the reading of the electricity units are not so clear . Although these meters should identify the electricity theft . These meters should be controlled with a remote so that the meter reading checkers donot go near the electricity Meters for checking the units . It is the best step for their safety . Voltage moderator device should be attached with these meters .  

2. MEASURING INSTRUMENT ;

This instrument should able to detect the weight of the grain when we carry in it . A small weigh detector is placed on the handle . It is easy to weight the things directly .

3. BANGLE  ;

This design product should able to catch the colour of the object or clothes when it placed near to them . Easy it easy and goes with all outfits . For economical purpose it is a best selling product . Also we can add small watch in it so it gives 2 in 1 function . 

4. TISSUE PAPER BOX ;

The design problem is that as nowadays the environment is not so hygienic the pop-up tissue paper outside the box will become polluted . So the box should be designed according to it . Sanitized boxes for the tissue paper boxes should be made for the less spread of the infection or disease . 

5. REFRIGERATOR ;

The design of the refrigerator should be evolved . The device should have a detector tool which is able to detect the old food and remind the user to throw it out so that the other food items should not become rotten . This device should be placed in all ranges of the refrigerator . 

6. ELECTRICITY WIRES POLES ;

The colour of the electricity and cable wired should be changed . It is difficult to identify the main wires and cable wires . It the specific colour scheme for the wires should be arranged so that it is easy to identify the wires for the electricity workers . 

7. HELMET ;

When a bike rider wear helmet and breathe in it fog used to appear on the plastic sheet which is very dangerous for the rider because he can't see anything and it may cause accident . Small holes should be made on the front side so that fog doesn't appear on the screen . Other problem is that as per the environmental pollution on the roads for the health purpose of the rider the Helmets should have some addition of air purifier device in it . 

8. LCD ;

The design problem is that this lcd should have a rotation device at the back on the fixing position so that it easily rotates on the wall . Where we need it should rotate with a single botton press .

9 . MEDICINE BOTTLE ;

The medicine bottle should have a fixed handle . And the Colour scheme for different medicine for kids should be made so that they easily take the medicine without creating any drama . The medicine bottle should be look like a juice bottle . 

10. SHOP LIGHTS 

In the bazar all shopes have a light indicator with indicate that the shop is free and there is no crowd in the shop and waiting time for the next customer should be displayed outside the shop . Or one type of shop like all grocery store have same colour light indicator . So it is easy for the costumer to find the shop .
